As of Sunday (9/7) we've been a family for 6 months. We are now in a position where we can officially adopt. We are waiting on a TPR court date. After TPR then we will start working with the adoption unit. I am so excited. The boys are doing great. They are growing up so fast. I feel like if I blink that they will be grown.
John is off next week. We are going to be making a lot of day trips and doing things with the boys. We had planned a "real" vacation, but life happened. Mom was hospitalized at the end of August for Congestive Heart Failure. She only spent 5 days in the hospital, but I'm still not completely comfortable leaving the area just in case. All in all she's doing well.
All in all, life is great and getting better. We are very blessed. We have went back to the church we met in. It seems like home and I think that makes all the difference. The church we were in just wasn't a good fit anymore. I am looking forward to getting more involved in church again.
